Turon White, the label’s namesake, and Alex Daniel believe that wine is the balance between art and science. In other words, having the confidence to give the wine space to be itself while using knowledge and technique to guide things in the right direction when necessary.
Multiple gold and silver medals across the entire range, from one of Australia’s most influential and acclaimed wine writers, James Halliday, would suggest that they are indeed headed in the right direction.
Starting their own winery to allow small batches and total creative control was an incredibly gutsy move, declaring themselves as serious players in an established and often traditionally geared industry. We wanted to reflect this inspiring confidence with a logo and branding as bold as it is sophisticated, as youthful as it is mature, and with a touch of elegance… just like a good wine.
